Please consider how successive governments, especially this Labour administration have socially engineered the British public into a state of apathy and compliance through constant pressure of "Nanny State" interference, surveillance CCTV cameras, denial of parental control, uncontrolled mass immigration and "multiculturalism".
Some generations have known no better, and have suffered their development "dumbed down" by a celebrity culture, inadequate education, relaxed drinking laws, daily dose of TV soaps, etc. We all know the signs ....
Government have steadily eroded our commonly held standards, and now attack the very fabric of our society by promoting lesbian and homosexual relationships, and by lowering the age of consent from 17 to 16. Only today have we learnt that this abomination has been voted through the House of Lords to apply in Northern Ireland, despite strong opposition there. Nobody takes account of what the electorate actually wants. Now civil servants are encouraging us to snoop on our friends and neighbours, and are promoting this as our social duty! Just how much more despicable can the Government get? A lot worse I fear. Here is a quote from Declan Ganley of Libertas.org, who ran the NO campaign in Ireland. Born in Watford, he moved to Ireland when he was twelve, and learned an unforgettable lesson about freedom while travelling in eastern Europe. "I saw how a society is retarded by an elite cut off from its citizens," he recently told the Observer. "I witnessed how inherently undemocratic socialism was and that is why I don't want an overweening EU. It's just another form of state interference."
